Hi, I’m Crys — a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate. I provide a grounded, supportive environment using Emotionally Focused Therapy, where you can safely explore and understand your emotions. Every couple has that same argument that never seems to get resolved. Through this process, we will slow things down to understand what is happening beneath the surface of the conflict.
We will identify the unmet needs and emotional patterns that keep you stuck so you can send a clear signal to your partner. As we repair your bond, we will begin building new, safer ways to connect with yourself and your partner. I believe healing happens through connection, when we feel seen, understood, and emotionally held by another.
Whether you’re navigating personal trauma or trying to repair and strengthen your relationship, my role is to walk with you as you begin to tune into your emotions, express your needs, and experience new ways of being with yourself and those you love. My sincere hope is that our work together will help you rediscover your voice, your strength, and the connection you long for.
I also support couples navigating the sexual side of their relationship — including desire differences, sexual disconnection, and the intimacy challenges that often accompany emotional distance. These tender conversations deserve compassion, gentleness, and a non-judgmental space, and I’m honored to guide couples through them.
I am deeply passionate about working with couples, and I never take for granted the privilege of walking alongside them in their vulnerability. I was drawn to this work through my own lived experience with disconnection and relational pain. I know what it’s like to feel stuck in patterns that don’t reflect who you truly are, and I understand how much courage it takes to reach for connection, especially when vulnerability hasn’t always felt safe.
Outside of the therapy room, you can likely find me traveling, reading, or knitting. Sometimes all of the above! I consider myself a lifelong learner and am always knee-deep in research, a book, or continuing my education and training in emotionally focused therapy.
